Baby Baby..... Snacks, feeds and Naps!

Who could resist a baby as beautiful as this? Elana will be one year old at the end of this month and her mum and gran wanted some pictures to remember this milestone in her life.

Baby shoots are the kind where you just have to just go with the flow, nappy changing, snacks, feeds and naps are all part of the fun! You have to be ready to capture that special moment or expression that will be treasured for years to come.

Commercial Shoot - Safety First!!!

With a background in marketing a shoot that requires shots for a client's promotional material is a great opportunity to mix up my skills for the day... so it was off to the Harbour to takes shots of equipment destined for the southern hemisphere...

A rare photograph of me (I prefer to be on the other side of the camera, thank you). As you can see kitted out with full Health and Safety gear, absolutely essential for such a dangerous environment. Equipment, chains and moorings weighing in excess on 25 tons - each!!

(Thank goodness for my Duvet coat tho')

Laura & Kristine

It was cold today, so we kept our shoot quite short. Laura and Kristine are friends and I think you'll agree are both stunningly beautiful women - hopefullly I've managed to capture some of that beauty.

What happens if it's raining on the day of our shoot?

I love working with natural light, but it can have its challenges, especially if it is chucking it down - like yesterday's shoot... One of my favourite places to go are the covered Winter Gardens in the Duthie Park. The light was beautiful, but not as beautiful as these girls. Thank you Katie & Lucy for working so hard!!!

Rachel!!!

Had great fun with Rachel and her Mum yesterday... the weather was perfect for a winter shoot, and the cloud cover made for the perfect lighting: a photographers dream!! We wrapped up warm tho' - as you can see from my fav shots of the session.
